Spine and HTML 5
Hi Everyone,
So I have a job coming up that is based in HTML 5, I am a complete tech noob and was hoping for some help.
I absolutely love Spine and is by far my favourite tool to use in terms of ease, results and workflow but I don't know how easily compatible with HTML 5 it is, if at all?
I was wondering if someone would be able to highlight what does and doesn't work and also how easy it is to integrate?
Also If Spine isn't an option what is my best bet, I presume Adobe Animate but using Flash makes me feel quite ill.
Thanks in advance y'all, any help is appreciated.
Huh, that's a fascinating idea. I don't think they have HTML 5 support, but having just used spine to mockup some UI, I can definitely see the appeal.
Check the Javascript runtimes Spine: Runtimes
PIXI JS is probably a good place to start
Pretty much all JS runtimes require Canvas support, so if you can live with that "limitation", Spine could just work for your use case.
Thanks for taking the time guys, I'll keep digging.
Along the same lines..
Is there a HTML 5 engine ( using canvas is fine ) that works well with Spine?
