We have depended on the Esoteric software forums for a bit and decided it was time to share what we have been making! We have used tools from here and found the solutions to many bugs. If you have any questions we would be happy to answer them!
A little about the project - It is a tower defense strategy game set in a fantasy world. Many units, tons of FX, lots of moving parts. We have hundreds of Spine animated characters at one time and some intense action that depends on the Spine runtime. We also used spine to do mockups, and UI.
We switched to using Spine in the middle of production which could have been a disaster, but proved to be well worth the trouble. Our animators had previous experience in Flash and were able to adapt to Spine quite quickly. Our previous animation done in Flash were able to be converted to Spine with the help of our engineers! That saved us months of work.

Here we have a few of our Hero and Enemy animations singled out. We tried to be careful with meshes and made sure to share parts of animation across multiple characters. This helped a lot with drawcalls and sprite packing in general.
