Hi,
I'm working with a huge background animation reference image. It's about 12k pixels wide and I need to horizontally move it when changing to a new frame. I need that it remains in the same transform vertical value at all times.
That said, I know I can use the transform handles that appear in the middle of the image when selected, but in this case the image is so big that I'd need to scroll out to see and manipulate them, losing accuracy due to scrolling out.
I also understand that I can move the image dragging the mouse without the handles, but that implies I'll move it vertically as well. Then again, I could do that and then manually changing the vertical transform to its original value.
But I was asking myself if there is a more straightforward way to lock the transform movement in one axis by simply pressing a modifier key or a combination of two, like 'shift' or 'ctrl + alt', etc. and dragging the mouse.
I've been trying some combinations without luck and the cheat sheet doesn't mention something like this. So I need to ask you.
And if there is no way to do that... well, you'll probably won't agree on being this important but, could you consider to implement it in future versions of Spine please?
Thank you.
I've just realized that I can change values by 'Ctrl+left-click+dragging' the mouse over them.
It's useful and saved me from doing what I mentioned in the previous post. However, it seems to be more appropriate for fine tuning instead of big displacements.
Also, it seems that if you use this feature a lot of undo states are triggered, so if you need to undo a movement made in this fashion you need to press Ctrl+Z multiple times. It would be better if only a undo state was triggered. Just saying... 😉
About my previous question/request, it still holds if somebody knows the answer.
