I have used this find and replace function to replace the paths for a series of images
but now it doesn't work like before

When you said before, what do you mean? Previously in the same version of Spine?

Maybe you have a space after .*?

Yes. I mean the previously version of Spine. I guess there some change in expression that I don't know make this conflict. And I already check, there is no space after .* in my text.

I'd need to see your project to be sure, but in your screenshot you have selected Current skin. Could it be you have an empty skin active, or you have no skin active?
