  • Need help with next/previous frame key binding. *Solved?*

  • تم التحرير

Hello!

I've mapped Previous Frame and Next Frame to the < and > keys. Or more accurately. To the , and . keys (since the < and > keys are actually being used for Previous Frame (10) and Next Frame (10))

However, when I use these keys, instead of getting Previous Frame and Next Frame I instead go to Next Skin and Previous Skin and. . .

. . . wait a second. . .

Checks hotkeys-1.txt :
Next Skin: PERIOD
Previous Skin: COMMA

Updates hotkeys-1.txt :
Next Skin:
Previous Skin:

Okay, now it's working. Was the functionality of Next Skin and Previous Skin recently added? I've never run into this problem before. Well, I'm still posting this incase it helps someone else! : )

Also, in hotkeys-1.txt is it better to go:
Next Frame: '.'
Next Frame (10): '>'
Previous Frame: ','
Previous Frame (10): '<'

Or instead should I go:
Next Frame: PERIOD
Next Frame (10): '>'
Previous Frame: COMMA
Previous Frame (10): '<'

Does it make a difference?

Thanks for any help and advice. : )

Eidrog I’m glad to hear you've figured it out.

No, those hotkeys have been available for quite some time.

As you have done, when a key you want to use for a hotkey has been already used for another hotkey, simply remove the key name of the one already used and add it to the desired hotkey.

I'm not sure why I've never encountered this problem before. O_O But in any case, I'm glad there was a solution! : )

Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it!
