  • Unable to install GimpToSpine

    hello, I'm a new Spine2D user, and want to Install GimpToSpine

    My OS is Windows10, and the Gimp version which I install is 2.10.32
    I have follow all the thread I could find
    Including both

    I'M CERTAINLY SURE that the green light is showing, and the Python-FU since I triple-reinstalled GIMP making sure those features are on

    however after dropping GimpToSpine and restarting, the options Never showed up.
    Is there something I misinput?

      Place "GimpToSpine.py" into the other folder, "D:\GIMP 2\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins" .

        I have tied to install GIMP 2.10.32 on a Windows 10 PC and placed GimpToSpine.py in the C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins folder and confirmed the "Export to Spine" menu is successfully added to the File menu.

        I'm afraid that I couldn't find the cause, but at least it shouldn't be a problem on the script side, so you may want to ask a question on the Gimp forum:

          I'm on Windows, I don't think that's the problem

          However all of my C drive files are all auto-read only and hide
          while hiding could be toggle, auto-read automatically turn itself back on after I switch it off
          (I even set myself as Administrator, they never work)

          Is this the reason why GimpToSpine is failling? Otherwise I'm out of wits
          I have tried many methods.
