Hello mg.Mongibello. Erika's tips are spot on. Animation wise, to get a good whip animation you have to nail your Wave principle. It is a base for a lot of things in animation. Like flags, whips, overlapping stuff in general. If you look closely, you will notice this principle almost everywhere. Just be careful, the snap is very important in the whip animation, which means you will have to have at least one frame of a completely straight line where the whip snaps. (if you are adding the sound, put it a frame after the snap)
