Since the release, I can no longer open Spine or use it at all. I tried downloading it again, but no luck. Just keep getting the message: "Sorry, the update has failed"

Well, I'm just hitting Control + E and that is what I'm getting. My exact settings are in the post above. I also am exporting multiple skeletons at once.

I can not change the size of the tree panel. In the older version if i clicked and dragged i could adjust the size of this panel. At the moment i am working with a larger detailed character and would like to not have 1/3 of my screen taken up, that being said i also do not want to minimize it either.

also in 2.0.2 the option to not export unessential data does not seam to be doing anything. My export file sizes are exactly the same on all animations regardless if this is checked or not.

Quick followup.

I was able to reproduce this by opening Spine and just starting and saving a new project. When I hit export (ctrl +E), I notice it was adding in incorrect directory information. You must let Spine export to see problem happen.

If you hit ctrl +E again it adds ANOTHER nested directory into the export path. You must let the thing export to see it do it again. Point is, if you do 5 successful exports then you are likely to see them in 5 nested directories with the same name.

REALLY NICE visual indicator for events!

After having to edit animation pace and speeds, one can tend to forget events even exist, especially when they're always pushed to the bottom of the dopesheet. I think this solves it well.

Does it have options? Hide? Move?

Pharan, you can hide the events by hiding the Events node in the tree. They always appear above the skeleton.

berserk77, we'll need better reproduction steps. I can click plenty of times without crashing.

Hello,

Many of the shortcut keys no longer work in Ubuntu 14.04. For instance, Ctrl+S does not save the project, I need to go to the menu and click "Save"

Edit: I would like to add that it seems like the reason is that modifiers don't always get released correctly. For instance, doing Ctrl+Alt+Right to switch workspaces seemingly makes Spine think that Alt is still pressed when I go back to it.

It seems that with every update (?) the hotkeys.txt is overwritten.
Is there any trick I don't know or do I have to simply swith it to read-only mode?

Hello, been giving 2.0.16 a go today and am being plauged with crashes. Is this a known issue? It literally happens randomly, got 3 data imports into 1 project, nothing over the top, windows 7, 64bit.

Crashes occur randomly while working on the file (only tools i've used is create, some translation, a bit of animating). Crashes occur during those steps, ususally as I click somewhere on the hierarchy.

artDude, can you email me the email address you used to purchase Spine so I can inspect any crash logs you've submitted?

funshark, Spine should only overwrite the hotkeys when something major changes with the default hotkeys. This doesn't happen every update and is relatively rare, though it happened with version 2.0.00. A backup of the hotkeys.txt is made in the backup folder before overwriting, which you can find through the Settings dialog. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I am going through the latest Spine update 2.0.16
It feels awesome. The dopesheet feels more comfortable and intuitive for some reason. Love it.

I noticed something between the OSX and Windows 8 versions.
On Windows 8 there is a cursor change when are resizing windows. On OSX there is no cursor change.
You can see here this is what Windows looks like. On OSX the cursor doesn't change like this.

May I request the same or similar visual feedback for OSX?
I posted this in another forum post thinking the resizing was gone all together, it was only because I was looking on my Mac.

btw - Are there plans to enable dual screen support? Below is my current OSX screen. Its great to be able to move the panels around. Ideally I would love to be able to undock the panels too and put them on my 2nd monitor. I'll take a look on Trello and see what others are saying

It took me a while to find out that you can resize the separate panels on my mac. I thought they couldn't be resized and thats why I was asking about the separate timeline panel. I feel kinda dumb for asking about it now that i know you can simply shrink the dope sheet. My bad :doh:

Hello,

I don't know if it comes from the update, but I have a problem with the animation.
When I create a key and I lock it's rotate/translate/scale setting, it actually saves the modification on the frame previous to mine.
So, I have the keys at the right keys, but the moves are on a different one.
Am I the only one who have this problem or am I doing something wrong?

Hello, i will try to explain my problem :

I can't modify the last key of any animation. For example I inserted -500 at the Translate Var, and when i key it (Auto Key is active) it comeback to 0. (0 is the value of the bone in the Frame 0).
As you can see in the picture, the change is being applied (the key before the last one is almost -500), but when i click the key, it doesnt show the value that i just assigned.
Im pretty sure that this situation it's intended because my last key take the 0Frame value. But it's pretty anoying to me since i cannot work on the last frame.

I hope that you understand what i said. :notme:
